Excluding pages from the sitemap

Log into your site's dashboard

Locate the page that you wish to remove from the sitemap

Click edit to enter the page setup screen

In the edit screen there are a range of expandable options on the right.

Click on the option for SIMPLE XML SITEMAP

The regions with available sitemaps are shown under this option. 

The page can be set for inclusion in the sitemap for each region individually by choosing the radio option for

Index this Standard page entity in variant Default (default)

or for exclusion from the sitemap by choosing:

Do not index this Standard page entity in variant Default

The page will then be either added or removed from the sitemap based on your choice during the daily CRON run. 

If for some reason, the change to the sitemap must be effective immediately, tick the option for 

Regenerate all sitemaps after hitting Save

Then save the page to make the changes to the sitemap take effect
