Adding and using a custom component

Custom content block components are a useful way of adding repeating information across multiple pages on a site. Custom content blocks can be edited in a single location and will automatically update on all pages where that custom content block is used.
 

Adding a custom content block to a page

You can view the current list of custom content blocks when using the add block option on a page
Below the option for + Create content block there is a list of available custom content blocks
Click on the block that you want to add to the page and it will be added. 

Adding and updating custom content blocks

To view the current list of custom content blocks go to Content > Blocks
This option is found under the Content library on the second tab  -  Content | Blocks | Files | Media
By using the Block Type filter you can see the various types of blocks already created
By clicking on any of these blocks you can open it and edit it's content.
Some content blocks are cannot be used on a page as they have specific functions eg Mega menu

To add a new content block click on the blue +Add content block button
Choose the type of block you want to add from the list of options
Add content to the block in the same way that you would if adding to a page
Save your block

Your newly created block is now available to use through the add block menu on each page.
